Mindful Meditation

Please join us for the monthly mindfulness meditation group led by Alyce E. Wellons, LCSW. This group is open to anyone in our community and there is no fee or experience required. You will learn postures to help you relax your mind, how to use your own breath as a reminder to return to the present moment, and what to do with the many thoughts and emotions that arise. The practice of mindfulness helps to open a heart that is ready for anything. With mindfulness meditation you will find the tools to walk the path of mindful awareness, and connect with your innate capacity for love, clarity, and inner peace. The group meets the first Tuesday of every month from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. in Lawrence Hall.
