The Kitchen Guild assures that the kitchen gets cleaned regularly and keeps all the kitchen supplies stocked so they are available as needed. This group has been known to finish its monthly work day with a trip to a local eatery for lunch.
The Special Events Committee is responsible for arranging and providing refreshments for special events at our church, such as visits from the Bishop and funeral receptions. All are invited to participate. We have established menus and a variety of things that are needed for each event. There are sign-up sheets available (Lawrence Hall) that allow you to choose what you are able to provide for an event. Many things can be purchased at the store (i.e. cheese cubes, mixed nuts). We also need help with set-up and clean-up for every event. We have captains who rotate through the lists so that no one is called on to help all the time.
